The 2010 International Roofing Expo took place on the show floor of the D and E Halls at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans on Feb. 22-24. Here’s a recap if you missed out.
There’s a new water-based coating on the market that is taking roofs and building envelopes by storm. It’s called Kynar Aquatec, a platform of emulsions developed by Philadelphia-based Arkema Inc. What this new coating is doing is raising industry standards for durability and performance of water-based roof coatings.

start Tuesday when the scheduled keynote speaker, NBA Hall of Famer Bill
Walton, was given doctor’s orders not to travel because of a bad back.

Walton will be the keynote speaker at the International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas on Feb. 3 where
he is sure to grab the attention of the thousands of roofers who are looking
for a winning formula in the industry.

Contractor’s Association (MRCA) National Conference Nov. 12-14 at the Gaylord
Texan Resort & Convention Center near Dallas.
